Work With Us! Farm to Institution Project

Farm to Institution Central West NSW

Farm to Institution Central West NSWRDA Central West is looking for a Website, Content and Social Media Developer.

Casual 2 days/week with possibility to expand.

Are you creative, clever, outgoing with a passion for regional communities, agriculture and food?

Do you have experience in communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, web content development, writing and or social media?

We are looking for someone to help us develop the website, content and social media over the next six months for an amazing new project called Farm to Institution Central West which aims to harness the buying power of regional institutions (think hospitals, universities, aged care facilities and jails) to transform the regional food economy.

You’ll work with our Director of Regional Development, and be expected to help us mould and develop this amazing project from concept to reality.

You can work from our office in Orange, or from home…or a bit of both, but we would prefer you to be from the Central West region and to be able to meet up in Orange at regular intervals to brainstorm and work through the project.

This is a casual position (starting at 2 days/week for 6 months) but there is the possibility of expansion and extension, depending on how awesome you are and how much you love the project.

For more information on the project, we suggest you check out our initial scoping report https://rdacentralwest.org.au/initiatives/farm-to-institution/. And to get really inspired, take a look at the Farm to Institution New England (USA) website https://www.farmtoinstitution.org/about to see what we are aiming towards.

Please contact Julia Andrews, Director of Regional Development, Regional Development Australia (RDA) Central West on 0448 288 698 or julia@rdacentralwest.org.au for more information.
