Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Subclass 187)
RDA Central West will cease accepting Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Subclass 187) applications on Friday 1st November at 5 pm. This is to ensure there is sufficient time to process all final applications before the program closes on 15 November.
The new Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 494) comes into effect on 16 November 2019.
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (subclass 187)
The Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme subclass 187 is a visa program that allows employers in regional, remote or low population areas to sponsor (nominate) skilled overseas workers for permanent residence. The visa assists regional employers that have not been able to fill their positions vacant with Australian Citizens or permanent residents to sponsor skilled people from overseas to fill their vacancies and to work and live in a regional area. RSMS Visa certification in the Central West
Regional Development Australia Central West (RDACW) is the certifying body for the Central West region. RDACW office is situated in Orange NSW.

Is the nominating business in RDACW region
Check that the nominating business is situated in the Central West region and where the nominee will be working and living.

RDACW processing fee
A standard non-refundable processing fee of $660 (including GST) applies to all applications prior to processing.
An invoice will be sent following receipt of the application and prior to certification.

You must complete the Form 1404 from the Department of Home Affairs and send with your supporting documents to RDACW.

How to send your RSMS application to RDACW via Email or post
EMAIL applications to email@example.com
Requirements for Emailing:
Email size – maximum of 10Mb’s per email (do not exceed this limit).
Email ‘Subject’ text – Type the following information into the ‘Subject’ space for each email (RSMS, nominating business name, nominee name, the number of each email if multiple emails are required; for example 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3.
Attachment of documents – PDF files preferred or word documents

RSMS Visa processing times:
RDACW will aim to provide assessments within 6 weeks of RDACW’s receipt of the RSMS application. However we cannot guarantee that applications can be assessed in under 6 weeks.
Please ensure applications are received with sufficient time for assessment.
