Upstairs, based in Bathurst, is the first Regional Start-up hub in Central West, NSW. It is a community founded start-up hub resulting from a partnership between Bathurst Regional Council, NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, Charles Sturt University, Reliance Bank, and supported by Jobs for NSW.
The Upstairs facilities include 32 dedicated workstations, hot desks, breakout spaces, mentors, tailored startup programs, events, networking and more.
James Triggs, Expert in Residence, has over 18 years experience working in the tech space, bringing with him access to investor networks that when ready, will be paired with the startups to provide opportunity to raise capital and pitch idas.
There are a range of plans on offer to start-up and small businesses wanting support,:
- Full-time Stair Master – $325/month for 24/7 access to the space, a dedicated desk with access to mentors, investors and events
- Part-Time Member – $200/month for 24/7 access to the space for 10 days of the month, a flexi desk option with access to mentors, investors and events
- Virtually Real – $100/month for remote support from the Expert-in-Resident and mentors
