The Rural Adversity Mental Health Program in collaboration with the Center for Rural and Remote Mental Health is holding a two-day Mental Health First Aid Training Course in Oberon on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November.
A course will also be held in Grenfell on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th November from 9am-4pm at the Grenfell Bowling Club in Cross St.
The course covers helping people in mental health crisis situations and/or in the early stages of mental health problems.
Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, where and how to get help and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective.
Cost is $50 per person.

The Oberon workshop runs from 9:00am-4:00pm on both days and takes place at the Oberon Hospital 67-75 North Street, Oberon.
