RDA CENTRAL WEST PRESENTS A USER GUIDE TO REMPLAN

Regional Development Australia Central West now provides free access to REMPLAN’s
economic and demographic data analysis tools and is excited to partner with the company
for a free one-hour webinar.

Local town planners, government agencies, community groups and businesses across the
region can get access to REMPLAN through RDA Central West’s subscription and will learn
about the different offerings in the up-coming webinar.

RDA Central West CEO, Sam Harma said the webinar will provide a brief snapshot of the
economic and demographic analysis software and explore how users can benefit from the
different tools.

“Through the RDA Central West website, users have direct access to a range of public
information but we also can assist in gathering more complex data,” said Mr Harma.
“REMPLAN is a fantastic resource that provides valuable insight and information into the
region in which people want to live, work or invest in.

“Information is vital to investment. This data is accurate, up-to-date and can therefore
support the development of business cases, strategies, project assessments, reporting and
funding applications.

“Area specific data such as population figures, trends, unemployment rates and economic
modelling based on the impacts of new developments or business closures are just some
examples of the types of information REMPLAN can generate.

“I am a strong believer that good data helps make good decisions and through RDA Central
West, REMPLAN is available for our region to utilise. I would encourage Central West
businesses and community members to capitalise on this opportunity.”

‘A User Guide to REMPLAN’ will be hosted by Teresa Bullock-Smith, Principal Economist at
REMPLAN on Tuesday, 25 August from 12pm to 1pm.
