The Central West Inspired Women (CWIW) initiative hosted a workshop focused on the power of personal branding on Friday. CWIW welcomed personal branding experts Dr. Natalie Shepard and Sandra Martin, who have worked with some of Australia’s top companies and travelled from Albury to deliver the three-hour session.

CWIW cofounder and committee member Rachel Chippendale said the workshop met a need for education around this valuable topic.

“Personal branding is part of a strong business and career strategy as it allows you to connect with customers authentically and identify yourself as a professional in the industry. Education around this topic is invaluable to our local women wishing to improve skills and portray the credibility they are worthy of,” said Ms. Chippendale.

“Dr Natalie Shepard and Sandra Martin delivered an outstanding workshop highlighting the key areas of personal branding, which included sharing their expertise on personal style and communication, and so much more.”

The CWIW initiative continues to go from strength to strength, with membership free for the foreseeable future. Joining is as easy as following along on social media or subscribing to their newsletter via Regional Development Australia Central West (RDA Central West), under whom CWIW operates.

Cofounder and Committee member Amy Van de Ven said she was incredibly thrilled by the success of CWIW’s first personal branding workshop.

“Through this workshop we aimed to empower women to embrace their unique qualities, amplify their voices, and cultivate a powerful personal brand to stand out in a crowd! The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, as women from a vast range of industries learned valuable strategies to navigate the professional landscape with confidence,” said Ms. Van de Ven.

“We are confident that the skills and insights gained from this workshop will continue to empower these remarkable women as they forge ahead on their personal and professional journeys. Central West Inspired Women remains committed to providing opportunities that uplift, educate, and empower women, and we look forward to bringing more transformative experiences in the future.’’

The next event for CWIW is scheduled for Thursday, 6 July in Orange. Stay tuned for speaker and ticket sale announcements via Facebook and/or Instagram @cwinspiredwomen.
