JOIN THE RDA CENTRAL WEST COMMITTEE

Regional Development Australia Central West (RDA Central West) is calling for applications for the Deputy Chair and Committee Member positions.

Local leaders with vision, drive and experience, who are knowledgeable about business and economic strengths and opportunities for the region, are encouraged to apply.

RDA Central West Chair, Ruth Fagan said RDA Committees play an important role in driving regional economic development.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national network of local people developing local solutions to local issues,” said Mrs Fagan.

“We are seeking highly motivated local leaders with strong ties to the Central West and whose skills and networks will enable collaboration between business, industry and all levels of government.

“Together, we will work towards our goal of driving investment, local procurement and jobs and improve regional policy making by providing intelligence and evidence based advice to the Australian Government on regional development issues.

“By volunteering for your local RDA Committee, you have the chance to give something back to the community and help facilitate future investment in the region.”

Applications for the RDA Central West Deputy Chair and Committee Member positions close 5pm Friday, 23 April 2021. The term will be for a two year period commencing 1 July 2021.
