Regional Development Australia (RDA) Central West will host an exciting event this month, aimed at supporting small and medium business across the region.
The 2022 Backing Business Forum will take place on Friday, 18 February, at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC), where thirteen inspirational business leaders will take to the stage across three forum-style sessions, with colourful host, Pippa Moore.
The all-day event, ‘Rediscover and Relaunch’, hopes to motivate Central West businesses for the year ahead, by providing them with an opportunity to come together after navigating a challenging two years due to Covid-19.
RDA Central West CEO, Wayne Sunderland, said the forum will help businesses to get reconnected, network, and learn from business experts and leaders.
“By hearing from business experts and leaders in our region, many of whom have faced the same issues, we hope attendees will leave feeling informed and inspired to relaunch into what is essentially a new business age.” said Mr Sunderland.
“Events like Backing Business Forum help spark ideas, connect like-minded business owners and instil motivation for the future. Backing Business Forum will equip local businesses with new information and practical tools across a range of topics to support business growth.”
“We have a fantastic line-up of speakers, and the advice, insights and expertise they can offer will be incredibly valuable to business owners, managers and employees – no matter what sector they are from,” said Mr Sunderland.
“It’s a jam-packed day with three forum style sessions where the presenters will participate in a live and interactive Q&A, so the audience has the chance to be involved in the discussions.”
Mr Sunderland added that the forum will cover a range of topics and include local case studies.
“The day will start with a sit down with the decision makers, followed by the experts and their experiences, and wrap up with a learn from the locals session. I’m really looking forward to hearing from some of our local business owners including Meg McKenna from The Victoria, Vanessa Pringle of Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs and Fish River Roasters’ Peter Harrison”.
A networking dinner is also planned at The Victoria from 6.30pm on Thursday, 17 February, where guests can meet the speakers that will be on stage the following day.
“It’s going to be a great day and I encourage anyone interested to get a ticket now!”
The 2022 Backing Business Forum wouldn’t be possible without the support of the event sponsors, including Destination NSW, Bathurst Regional Council, nbnco and Central NSW Business HQ.
