Environmental Restoration and Rehabilitation Grants

Environmental grantsThe NSW Government’s Environmental Restoration and Rehabilitation Grants are now open for application, to assist in the ongoing sustainable management and stewardship of significant environmental assets and services in NSW.

Grants of between $5,000 and $100,000 are available for periods up to 3 years in duration. A total of $2 Million is available for community groups, and an additional $2 Million for Government organisations in the 2017-18 round.

Eligible applicants include community groups and organisations, incorporated associations, non-profit organisations, non-commercial cooperatives, Trusts and government entities.

Examples of activities that can be funded include bush regeneration, weed management, revegetation, pest animal management, fencing, erosion control, habitat creation, formalization of tracks, signage and educational resources, capacity building (e.g volunteers), fire, project coordination, threatened species, among others.
