A free one-hour webinar aimed at local town planners, government agencies, community groups and businesses across the region is being hosted next Tuesday, 25 August, by RDA Central West and REMPLAN.
The webinar, ‘A User Guide to REMPLAN’, will dive into the economic and demographic data analysis tools offered through REMPLAN which can be accessed through the RDA Central West website.
RDA Central West CEO, Sam Harma said the webinar will provide an overview of the software and demonstrate how users can benefit from the different analysis tools.
“RDA Central West provides direct access to REMPLAN through our website and we can also assist users gather more complex data,” said Mr Harma.
“Information and data sourced from REMPLAN into the communities of the Central West is accurate, up-to-date and can be used to support the development of business cases, strategies, project assessments, reporting and funding applications.
“Population figures, trends, unemployment rates and economic modelling based on the impacts of new developments or business closures are just some examples of the types of area-specific information REMPLAN can generate.
“Good data helps make good decisions and through RDA Central West, REMPLAN is available for our region to utilise. I would encourage Central West businesses and community members to take up this opportunity to learn more about REMPLAN and how it can benefit your organisation.”
