The latest round of Create NSW’s Creative Koori Arts and Cultural Projects and Creative Koori Employment funds are now open for applications, aimed at supporting and expanding opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, cultural workers and arts organisations across the State.
Creative Koori Arts and Cultural Projects program offers funding that supports arts projects that celebrate and promote Aboriginal cultural identities.
Funding of up to $60,000 (within 12 months) for up to $75,000 (for projects delivered over a longer timeframe) is avalible.
The Creative Koori Employment funding aims to increase Aboriginal employment opportunities, build capacity and increase the number of professional and skills development opportunities on offer to Aboriginal artists, arts and cultural workers.
Funding of $15,000 up to $75,000 per project is available through the program.
Individual NSW-based artists, cultural workers or NSW organisations working with Aboriginal arts and cultural sectors can apply. All applications must include Aboriginal practitioners and/or arts & cultural workers in key creative roles.
Applications close at midnight Wednesday 21 October 2018.
