Funding is available for infrastructure projects in three key areas:
- Arts and Cultural Infrastructure – $50,000 – $200,000 per project
- Sport and Recreational Infrastructure – $100,000 – $300,000 per project
- Emergency preparedness, including projects that enhance facilities used to shelter communities and provide emergency services – $10,000 – $200,000 per project
Infrastructure grants can be used for costs such as construction, alteration, renovation, fitout of buildings, the purchase of capital equipment and professional fees.
Local Governments must provide matched funding for the funding amount requested.
