Destination NSW in consultation with six Destination networks is promoting 15 multi-stop drive itineraries through its new ‘Discover More’ Road Trips program.
One of the 15 Road Trips is The NSW Food and Wine Trail which includes the Central West towns of Lithgow, Orange, and Cowra.
The program encourages tourists to take road trips away from the major cities to see more towns in regional New South Wales.
Each road trip includes an itinerary with map, estimated mileage and time, stop-over towns including recommended places to eat and drink and accommodation as well as suggestions of local businesses to see along the route. Also included is major annual events that occur in that region.
Some other road trips included are; The Tablelands Food and Wine Trail, The Long Paddock, Fossikers Way, Blue Mountains, Central to Outback NSW, Darling River Run and more.
The NSW Government is investing more than $2 million in the ‘Discover More’ Road Trip program through marketing.
