Upstairs Kaffine Startup Workshops

Upstairs Bathurst is holding it’s Kaffeine course starting this week and running for six weeks. 

Kaffine is a short, sharp, engaging course that will run for 2 hours per week over 6 weeks at venues near you with some classes also being run online. It is designed to teach entrepreneurship especially to the people of our region, the Central West of NSW.

Course begins Wednesday 15th May, 2019 at 10am.

Manufacturing Efficiency Funding

Applications are open for the NSW Government $16 million fund to help manufacturing businesses save energy and money.

The funding could help you: upgrade energy monitoring systems, replace or retrofit old, inefficient equipment, install new energy efficient equipment or improve manufacturing processes.

Funding is open now and closes on at 5pm, AEST 30 June 2019.


Regional and Small Publishers Innovation Fund

Applications are open for the Federal Government’s Regional and Small Publishers Innovation Fund (the Innovation Fund).

The Fund has been established by the Government to support regional and small publishers to transition to and compete more successfully in the evolving media environment. It will preserve and improve the viability of Australia’s regional and small news publishing industry in the current period of transition.


Regional Skills Relocation Grant

The NSW Government has established the Regional Skills Relocation Grant to increase the availability of skilled and experienced workers for businesses setting up in, relocating to, or existing in regional NSW.

Grants are available for businesses operating in NSW regional eligible industries. The funding is available to assist with the relocation costs of eligible skilled workers they employ that move from metropolitan areas to regional NSW.

Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network of committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the economic development of their regions.

RDA Central West seeks a dynamic Director of Regional Development with high level management skills to provide professional support and advice to the Board. The DRD will work with a diverse organisation of volunteers and dedicated members of staff in a complex environment to deliver high value economic development outcomes for the Central west region.

The position provides an opportunity to work in a team environment where strategic, creative and innovative thinking are encouraged.

This is a challenging and rewarding role which will provide significant opportunities to work with a wide range of government, business and community stakeholders and make a positive contribution to the growth and development of communities across the region.
