Bring Your Bills Day at Parkes

The Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW is holding an energy affordability event in Parkes on the 4th December.

These events are aimed at reaching out to rural communities, particularly those on the land who may be affected by drought, and helping consumers experiencing hardship or problems with their energy bills.

More than 20 service providers will be in attendance to help with;

  • energy and phone bills
  • outstanding fines
  • financial problems
  • legal issues
  • seniors’ information
  • consumer rights
  • employment services.

People are requested to bring along their bills and any concession cards to get help with rebates, payment assistance, contracts, billing errors, energy saving tips and more.
