Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival

This week sees the launch of the sixth Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival on Saturday 15 February through to Sunday 23 February. In true Orange style visitors can look forward to something of interest for every member of the family.

Banjo Paterson’s poem ‘Waltzing Matilda’ is known worldwide, and what better way to celebrate this great Australian’s life than with a Festival at his birthplace. There will be a feast of special events during the week-long Festival. Some of these include: night market, bush poetry performances and competitions, local history tours, BBQs, brunch, a family market day and a very special Festival Dinner to be held in Molong on Saturday, 22 February.
