Regional Development Australia (RDA) Central West will host an exciting new event next month aimed at supporting small and medium business across the region.
The 2020 Backing Business Forum will take place on Friday, 20th November 2020 at the Orange Ex-Services Club from 9am to 5pm.
RDA Central West CEO, Sam Harma said the forum will equip local businesses with new information and practical tools across a range of topics to support business growth.
“RDA Central West is focused on building the capacity and resilience of local business and the advice, insights and expertise offered through this forum will do just that,” said Mr Harma.
“The Backing Business Forum was designed to help businesses tackle some of the challenges they have faced this year, but also take advantage of the predicted growth in the region.”
The all-day event will feature more than a dozen keynote speakers over three main sections with the speakers also taking part in a live Q&A panel at the end of each session.
“If you register for the event you will not only find out the latest economic and tourism overview, but discover new tips and tricks in digital marketing, learn how to maximise on technology, strategies for mitigating risk, the power of brand advocates, HR considerations and what is involved when future planning for your business.
“We have an incredible line-up of speakers who are experts in their field, and we are also proud to have a number of local guest speakers involved in the forum including JUMBLED’s Pip Brett, Pete Gerber from Pioneer Brewing and owner of Heifer Station, Michelle Stivens.
“RDA Central West’s work is focussed on building a stronger region and the 2020 Backing Business Forum is a fantastic platform that can provide support for local businesses, and in turn, our communities as a whole.
“As we near the end of 2020 and look ahead to the new year, this event will prove extremely valuable for small and medium business in the Central West.”
The 2020 Backing Business Forum wouldn’t be possible without the support of the event sponsors, including Orange City Council, NBN Co, Central NSW Business HQ and Newcrest Mining’s Cadia Valley Operations.
