Agribusiness Today Forum 2024 to Convene Industry Leaders and Innovators

The highly anticipated Agribusiness Today Forum 2024 is set to bring together a diverse array of livestock industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders on 1 August at the Australian National Field Days Function Centre in Borenore. This agribusiness focused event organised by Regional Development Australia Central West (RDA Central West) promises to delve into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of agribusiness for livestock producers.

With a theme of “Livestock in Focus,” the forum aims to foster dialogue on technological advancements, future opportunities and resilient supply chains. Attendees can expect insightful keynote addresses, panel discussions featuring local and interstate experts, and interactive breakout sessions designed to inspire improvement and innovation.

RDA Central West Director of Regional Development, Josh Gordon, said this year’s event is one not to miss.

“The Agribusiness Today Forum is a fantastic platform to highlight the agriculture sector and the developing research and new innovations driving the industry,” said Mr Gordon.

“Livestock farming is a major pillar in the region’s economy, and we have brought together a diverse range of industry experts to educate Central West livestock producers.

“This year’s Agribusiness Today Forum is more crucial than ever as we navigate a rapidly evolving global landscape for agriculture. We are excited to bring together thought leaders who are driving positive improvements in agribusiness.”

Key topics on the agenda include agtech in the livestock industry, market trends, genetic improvement, and maximising reproductive potential. Participants will have ample opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and forge partnerships that can drive the industry forward in the Central West.

The Agribusiness Today Forum 2024 is open to professionals across the agricultural value chain, including farmers, researchers, investors, and agricultural technology providers. It serves as a platform to explore innovative solutions that promote economic growth.

The forum, which was established over 25 years ago, is an initiative of RDA Central West, Charles Sturt University, Local Land Services and Central West Farming Systems.
