The NSW Aboriginal Fishing Trust Fund provides grants and loans for projects enhance, maintain and protect Aboriginal cultural fishing, or promote economic opportunities for Aboriginal communities associated with the fisheries resource.
Three different funding options are available:
- Small Projects – seeking less than $5,000 of funding
- Large Projects – seeking up to $1 million of funding
- Low or zero interest Loans
To be eligible for assistance applicants must be an Aboriginal person, an Aboriginal entity (including a family/clan or community organisation or an Aboriginal owned and run business), or someone acting on behalf of an Aboriginal entity.
