A MESSAGE FROM CEO SAM HARMA – APRIL 2020 #1

As we continue to navigate our way through these uncertain times, RDA Central West will be here to support our local businesses and communities where we can.

We know a lot of businesses and communities are doing it tough, and unfortunately there is still a way to go.

It is great to see both the NSW State Government and Federal Government working together on recent stimulus measures some of which include boosting cash flow for employers through tax rebates, the $1,500 a fortnight  ‘JobKeeper Payment’  and a waiver of payroll tax for three months for businesses with turnover up to $10 million.

The best thing we can do is to continue to invest, spend and support local businesses in our region when and where we can – online communication and sales are more important now than ever.  Many local businesses are thinking outside the box and this is the type of innovative thinking needed in challenging times. From this week on we’ll be featuring some of these inventive businesses and ideas via RDA Central West’s social media platforms.

We encourage everyone to take all government health advice seriously. Our region is resilient and resourceful, and now more than ever, these attributes will need to be drawn upon.
